Tea & Me Time
There’s drinking tea...and then there are tea drinking
rituals.
Patience makes all the difference.
My eldest sister lives in Canada. We don’t get a chance to
be together as much as we’d like to, however, whenever we get the
chance, we like to have tea together (She makes the BEST
cup of tea on the planet).
If you watched her, you would see that even in the gathering of all the
tea essentials she is conscious.
She takes her time.
She waits for perfect boiling water. She allows the tea leaves
to sit and seep. Simply through the act of preparation, she portrays
her loving intentions. And when we sit together and drink
our tea, we also take the time to remember our childhood growing up in
Jamaica, where as girls, we used to drink our tea in the morning.
Caribbean, Canadian, American – tea is one thing that links us to
our British roots.
This relaxing Tea & Me Time ritual is a good way to slow down and
remember the wonders of your life.
